“Fantastic Facial! It was Black Friday and I had no intentions of shopping, instead my friends and I did a spa trip. We all received different facials. Once our facials were over we compared notes. All of us were pleasantly surprised with a foot massage during the steam treatment. The bed was so comfortable. It was heated and the sheets, as my friend said, must have been a zillion thread count. The blanket on top was super soft. I did get a bit lost walking around with many unmarked doors. I guess I just have to go more often and I am sure this will become a tradition. The locker room and lounge were super clean and relaxing, and well stocked with essentials.”

He always leaves me feeling relaxed and loose. Andrea S. takes over with a facial to keep me looking and feeling great. She does whatever is needed to keep my aging skin soft and supple. She has great advice about products and how to use them to keep my skin looking great. Danuta is in charge of my feet. We spend an hour talking about cooking and gardening while she gives the most beautiful and long lasting pedi in town. Bella Sante is a lovely facility and the friendly, courteous and helpful staff always make me feel at home. It is like spending the afternoon relaxing with friends. I give them my highest recommendation.”

“It's been 2 years and I still absolutely adore Bella Sante. Best massage in Boston (IMHO). After coming home from the 60 mile Komen walk in DC (Columbus Day weekend), all I could think about was a massage here. A couple years ago, I did the Avon 40 mile and was in pain for a couple weeks. This time around, thanks to a massage by Darryl, my legs felt so great at the end of the 1st week. I even walked out of the spa without the limp that I walked in with! I wasn't completely pain-free (feet swollen, etc), but I was feeling soooo much better. They may be a little on the pricey side but the masseuses here KNOW what they're doing. The staff is still so fantastic. From checking in to leaving, it was just a great experience. Again. :)”

“My favorite spa in Boston!! Conveniently located just steps away from the Arlington T stop, I used to stop in here frequently to pamper myself after a hard day of work. The staff here is friendly, accommodating, and they do a fantastic job whether you're getting a facial, massage or mani/pedi. I remember my last week in Boston, I got the best massage of my life. I wish I remembered the masseuse's name! Afterwards, I sat in their steam room for an hour, fell asleep and felt relaxed and rejuvenated. After a session at Bella Sante, forget the T. Take a cab home.”

“Excellent. I was cutting it close on the time because I had just enough time to make it when I decided that I just HAD to peek in Betsey Johnson and try on 5 dresses. Anyway, one hot purchase, but a teeny bit late. They were totally fine with it and agreed that the stop was necessary. They held my bags at the front, took my coat and guided me through the locker room. The lockers are nice, all electronic and you get to make your own lock combination. The showers are clean. They have everything you need to properly groom yourself. You get slippers and a robe that sorta slips around a little, be careful. In the lounge there is a tea and water bar . There was this one water that was supposed to include some healthy benefits from salt water without the salty-salty taste, then a cucumber and a lemon. There was also tea and a cocoa. The lounge is comfortable with plenty of seating and a ton of magazines. There are fresh apples and little chewy candies that bugged the heck out of me, but I kept grabbing them anyway, I don't know why. I got the Bella Provence Massage with Darrell (phonetically at least, I have no idea about the spelling). I totally recommend it. It's a total of 80 minutes. It's starts with a vigorous exfoliation that left me feeling wonderfully smooth all over. Then, you rinse off the scrub and get a full body massage. He started with the face and didn't make me freak out by tugging on the skin (I hate when they pull on your face, I just start to picture little elastins popping the whole time... don't ask me what I imagine that looks like). He applied just the perfect amount of pressure, and made some serious progress with my back, which is pretty much constantly solid knots. He was professional and just the right amount of friendly chatter and soothing silence. This massage is perfect if you need to vent first because the exfoliation part isn't so much soothing, it's more invigorating. Then, stresses aired, you can relax in silence for the duration of your massage. Afterwards, I re-robed and he was waiting for me with a yummy lavendar infused water and a lavendar chocolate. The price is totally reasonable. I did a little price comparison before choosing and I think that the price is the best in the area.”

“My sister was kind enough to gift me with a visit here a few years ago for my birthday and by some stroke of luck, I got Alex as my aesthetician. Alex is amazing with brows. I've had them done at several places in the city and while no one did a bad job or anything, no one did them quite like Alex. I have the misfortune of being 100% Spanish and my grandparents while infinitely lovable also managed to bring their body hair from the Mediterranean with them. As such, grooming requires a little more extra care than it does most other girls. Alex tackles my brows like a champ -- she wrangles these caterpillars and manages to shape them into something that is neat, clean and appropriate for my face. I am not a big fan of the Jenna Jameson circa 1999 porno eyebrow look and I don't like going sans wax either. Alex has always managed to strike that perfect balance. I also got my first facial today (save the jokes I've already made them myself) and it was an awesome experience. I got the Cranberry Antioxidant Facial and not only was it really relaxing to have someone massaging my face, neck and arms for an hour, but my skin has NEVER felt this smooth. The other side of the coin with my genes is that along with the unfortunate brows, I also got great skin. It's a trade off that's fine by me, but I do very little to keep my skin blemish-free. However, dryness, that has always been a problem. My facial today completely solved that problem. My skin feels smooth, hydrated and it looks fantastic. cannot say enough good things about Alex at Bella Sante. She is worth every penny.”

“I'm a regular at Bella Sante for their waxing services and I've also been for their spa services (massage & facial). Yes, they are a tad pricey but are in line with most other day spas, I think. The spa is conveniently located in Lexington, near where I work, with a small parking lot (I've never had trouble finding a space). The spa atmosphere is soothing- they have a large comfortable waiting area that offers water flavored with lemon, orange or cucumber. Their waxing estheticians are always professional and efficient; I'm usually in and out of the spa very quickly. They use hard wax, which is a favorite of mine as well as a great lavender-scented soothing toner type of thing that they apply after waxings. For the spa services, it's definitely a splurge but well worth it. They have a good variety of services, as well as seasonal specials. If you want to save some money, check out the services during Spa Week- it's a great deal. Bella Sante is open pretty late on most days and on weekends so it's convenient for me, since I work a 9-5 job. You definitely have to make appointments ahead of time- usually at least a day in advance is fine. Receptionists are usually friendly and greet me when I enter...you'd be surprised at how many salons have mean & unfriendly receptionists/greeters...it's the small things that keep me coming back!”

“Aww, my first 5 star rating! So the major question, when can I move into Bella Sante? I adore spa treatments, and have tried numerous locations in every city I have lived in. None compare to Bella Sante. I was early for my appointment, having allowed extra time for traffic and parking, and Maria was able to accommodate me earlier than my appointment specified. I was given a luxurious robe and flip flops nicer than my day to day pair. Everything smelled heavenly, the grapefruit and mint infused water was so delicious, I am going to have to try to make it myself at home. The music was soft and unobtrusive, and everyone, thoroughly professional. I had a lavender body scrub, followed by a shower and then a massage. I had never had a body scrub before and it was very nice, my skin feels softer than it has in quite some time. I would love to go back again mid winter! The massage was excellent, I mentioned my problem areas and Maria did a wonderful job paying special attention to them. She told me I would feel even better today, and that has been true. My low blood pressure prevented me from enjoying the sauna, though I would have loved to do it another time. I left feeling slightly giddy and out of it, I was so relaxed and calm. The appointment was from a friend and I am not sure what the services cost, but rest assured he's on my Christmas list! Do not hesitate if you can afford it, book now!”
